Evening functions
Each night of the conference, ACES will give participants a chance to unwind, connect with fellow conference goers and share stories and ideas.
Thursday: Opening reception
Join us on the first night on the top of the Loews Philadelphia Hotel for hors d'oeuvres and a host bar. The 33rd floor features the most luxurious meeting room in Philadelphia, which was home to the executive board room of the Philadelphia Savings Fund Society, and a large terrace that lets you take in the inspiring view of the city.
Friday: Banquet

The formal banquet is all about celebrating the craft and honoring those who have made lasting contributions.
ACES president Chris Wienandt and others will announce the winners of the Glamann Award and the Robinson Prize. And this year's keynote speech will be by Ben Yagoda, a journalism and writing professor at the University of Delaware and the author of nine books, including "The Sound on the Page: Style and Voice in Writing."
For the meal, you can choose from pork, chicken, swordfish, vegetarian and kosher dishes on your registration form.
Saturday: Closing party

The end of the conference doesn't mean the end of fun. Down the street from the hotel, we'll celebrate another successful conference at Tavern on Broad. Tickets are $25. Buffet provided; cash bar available.
Check out the virtual tours and more on the tavern's Web site.
